Jeff Ewing

Managing Director

Jeff is a Managing Director of Blake Street Group. His executive assessment and selection experience spans nearly twenty-five years, working with numerous firms in industries that include telecommunications, software, construction, business and information services, food products, multinational manufacturing, and mining.

Prior to founding Blake Street Group in 2007, Jeff was the Senior Talent Officer for Centennial Ventures, a leading Denver-based venture capital firm. Before joining Centennial, Jeff served in senior executive roles with ConAgra, EDS/Neodata, and Whirlpool Corporation, where he was Director of Executive Development and Talent Management. In addition to his strategic human capital and senior talent management roles, his experience includes membership on corporate acquisition and site-selection teams in the U.S., Mexico, and Asia.

Jeff’s certifications include Benchmarks® (a 360°tool) through the Center for Creative Leadership and the Myers Briggs instrument. He also received his SPHR certification through the Society of Human Resources Management, as well as completed the University of Michigan’s Senior Human Resource Executive Program and the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership. Jeff has published articles on corporate governance and human resource practices and is a skilled trainer and public speaker.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Jeff has both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA. He has served on the board of a major regional hospital and was chairman of the board of a community hospice. Jeff has taught management courses as an adjunct professor at Siena College in Michigan.
